Single vs. dual beam is the make-or-break detail. A dual-beam socket (H4, H13, 9007) will not work correctly with a single-beam bulb, and vice versa. Confirm this before anything else.
How to confirm your size in 60 seconds
- Read the old bulb. The code is usually molded into the plastic base — pull one and look.
- Check the owner’s manual or the underhood label.
- Use a year/make/model fitment lookup, and verify low and high beam separately.
Match the bulb to the upgrade you want
Once you know your size, the size alone doesn’t finish the job — the technology has to suit your housing:

- Factory HID (a D-code)? Stay in the HID & xenon family and match the exact D1S/D2S/D3S/D4S code — these run on a ballast.

A few buying tips
- Buy in pairs and replace both sides at once so your beams match in color and brightness.
- Don’t assume a pairing. “H11 low / 9005 high” is common but not universal — confirm your vehicle.
